Mladost is Sofia's second most populous district — the Mladost 1, 1A, 2, 3 and 4 estates plus Gorublyane, crowned by Business Park Sofia. Five metro stations on lines 1 and 4, cycle lanes and shopping centres make it a favourite for living and working in south-east Sofia.

Mladost 1, 1A, 2, 3 and 4 are the microdistricts that shaped the area — panel blocks joined by large-scale new construction. Gorublyane keeps a lower profile, and at the southern end sits Business Park Sofia — the largest business complex in Bulgaria. The district also holds the American College of Sofia, Sveta Anna hospital and dozens of retail centres.
Metro lines 1 and 4 serve the district with Mladost 1, Mladost 3, Aleksandar Malinov, Akad. A. Teodorov-Balan and Business Park stations. The city's first completed cycle route (8+ km) links Mladost to the centre. The market is one of Sofia's most active — apartments to live in, rent or invest in, with demand fed by the office zone.
